The Government has authorised flights of NATO member countries' armed forces through Slovak airspace to support operations ensuring NATO's collective defence, peacekeeping and stability in the Euro-Atlantic area, humanitarian missions, exercises in Slovak airspace, transportation of delegations, equipment, enabling air repairs and refuelling during flight over Slovak territory. This according to an updated document on the presence of foreign armed forces in Slovak territory for the first half of the year, which was approved by the Cabinet at its online session on Thursday.
