Citizens of Ukraine can travel with all carriers included in the Integrated Transport System of the Bratislava Region (IDS BK) free of charge as of Tuesday. They only have to show a valid ID card or passport if they are checked by a ticket inspector. "They can travel free of charge on vehicles operated by the Bratislava City Transport Company (DPB), on regional buses operated by Arriva and on regional trains run by rail passenger carrier ZSSK," reads IDS BK's website. The decision was made based on Transport Minister Andrej Dolezal's (a We Are Family nominee) call to show solidarity for the people of war-torn Ukraine.
