Slovakia will refund health care for war refugees from Ukraine if they are tested positive for coronavirus, according to Slovak Health Ministry spokesperson Zuzana Eliašová. "People who are tested positive for COVID-19 will get all the necessary examinations and care. If they do not have a health-insurance policy, the cost of their treatment will be covered from Slovakia's state budget," said Eliašová. She noted that asylum-seekers have health-care fully refunded, like other participants in the system. Asylum-seekers and temporary refuge-seekers are eligible for urgent and necessary health care, added Eliašová.
