Slovak Police: Promotion of war carries 10-25 years in jail

Police warn Slovak citizens with respect to the Ukrainian war that any promotion or propagation of war carries the risk of a sentence of 10-25 years or life sentence. According to Police Corps Presidium spokesperson Michal Slivka, the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) will investigate such criminal activities disseminated on the internet with respect to pro-Russian disinformation campaigns in Slovakia. He also warned that if such activities are discovered, the police will take a resolute action. "Even with the deployment of special forces units," he added.
