The Presidential Palace has been lit up in blue and yellow - Ukraine's national colours - as a sign of solidarity with Slovakia's eastern neighbour, which is celebrating Unity Day on Wednesday. "It's an expression of solidarity and support for our neighbour and for all its people, for whom war is not just something distant or theoretical. For them, it's a reality that has been directly affecting their daily lives for eight consecutive years now," said the Slovak president Zuzana Caputova.
