As of Monday, the Slovak Health Ministry is launching vaccination with booster shots or third shots against COVID-19 for children aged 12-17. "The updated guideline of the Health Ministry allows the administration of a booster shot of the COVID-19 vaccine to a fully vaccinated person between the ages of 12 and 17 plus 364 days," said the Ministry’s spokesperson Zuzana Eliášová, adding that vaccination will be possible at the request of a legal representative. The vaccine used in this case will be that from Pfizer/BioNTech.
