Slovakia has concluded the Partnership Agreement with the European Commission (EC) on the use of European structural and investment funds in the 2014 - 2020 period, TASR learnt on Friday. The Partnership Agreement defines the strategy and priorities for the effective and efficient investment of €15.3 billion over the next 10 years.
According to Government Office, Slovakia's priority is to focus investments on key growth sectors, namely transport infrastructure, research, development and innovation, support of small and medium-sized enterprises, environmental protection, the digitalization agenda, energy efficiency and renewable energy. Equally important will be investment in employment, education, social inclusion and in increasing the efficiency of public administration.
