The Executive Vice-President of the European Commission, Frans Timmermans, who is in charge of the European Green Deal, is visiting Slovakia on 3 and 4 February. In Bratislava, he is meeting with the political representatives, companies and civil society actors involved in the transition to a climate-neutral economy. On Thursday evening, Timmermans is holding a roundtable discussion with environmental influencers, representatives of NGOs and climate pact ambassadors. His Friday programme is devoted to roundtable discussions with social and economic partners on the opportunities and challenges of the European Green Deal.
