On Wednesday, President Zuzana Caputova said on Radio Expres that she is considering legal action because of allegations raised by some politicians concerning the US influence over her. The head of state views such statements as absurd. "Such statements are absolutely irresponsible because they are a lie,” said Čaputová, adding that she sees it as a political game, which is beyond political culture and even beyond what is legal. Statements about an American influence on her person appeared most recently in connection with her positive views on the Slovak-American defence cooperation.
