The strategy for the protection and promotion of human rights in Slovakia from the workshop of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs is facing destructive efforts, says the Foreign Affairs Ministry.
“We consider it unfair and counterproductive that despite sufficient space provided for discussions over several months, now on the eve of finalizing the strategy, some individuals and groups try to organize campaigns against the adoption of this document,” the states the department’s press release. Thursday is the last day of when entities of the state administration, NGO representatives, as well as the public can comment on the proposed text of the strategy. According to the Foreign Affairs Ministry, views of everyone who wanted to contribute to a constructive dialogue on the document have been heard.
