Slovak Ambassador to Iran Ladislav Ballek handed over in Tehran on Wednesday Slovakia's humanitarian aid to a charity called Zanjireh Omid. This came in the form of a financial contribution for the children of Afghan refugees. Zanjireh Omid has many years of experience in caring for the children of Afghan refugees who find themselves in difficult life situations. The financial contribution is intended primarily for humanitarian purposes and to support doctors and volunteers. With this financial assistance, Slovakia has joined a group of other donors, such as France, Japan, Australia and the Vatican.
