The sale of the dominant power producer Slovenske Elektrarne (SE) is only a hair’s breadth away. Italian energy group Enel, which holds the majority stake in the Slovak electricity utility, has already made the first serious step; it is seeking an advisor.
A source familiar with the situation confirmed this information for the HN business daily. “Enel asked some investment banks to assist in the sale,” the source reported. The Economy Ministry has already asked Enel for detailed information.
