PM Heger questions agreement with Russian Prosecutor's Office

Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger said that he had doubts regarding the agreement on cooperation in the field of cyber security that Prosecutor-General Maroš Žilinka reportedly agreed with his Russian counterpart Igor Krasnov during his visit to Russia. "We often talk with EU leaders about the violation of our cyber space and the possibilities of protecting ourselves from these threats that, unfortunately, also come from the Russian Federation. This raises even bigger doubts in me," said Heger. He stated that we should not celebrate with countries that have problems respecting fundamental rights and freedoms, escalate military tension or undermine the territorial integrity of other countries. Heger has not said whether Žilinka should be subjected to a disciplinary prosecution in connection with this matter.
