“The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has once again shown Slovakia a mirror that can move the country forward,” said Prime Minister Eduard Heger during a joint press conference with OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann on Thursday. During the joint press conference, Mathias Cormann called on Slovaks to get vaccinated against COVID-19. He stated that vaccination saves lives, reduces the burden on the health system and the risk of further lockdowns. Cormann visited Slovakia also to present the latest OECD economic survey of the Slovak Republic.
