Accompanied by a business delegation, Slovak Parliamentary Speaker Pavol Paška left for an official visit to Israel on Tuesday, where he will remain until Thursday, June 19.
Later in that day the parliamentary speaker delivered a speech at the ceremonial opening of a business forum in Tel Aviv, attended by a number of Slovak businessmen. Paška then travelled to Jerusalem. On Wednesday, June 18, Paška was scheduled to meet Knesset chair Yuli-Yoel Edelstein and also hold talks with Zvulun Kalfa, head of the Israel-Slovakia Parliamentary Friendship Group. In the afternoon, he'll visit the Israel Museum and lay a wreath at the Yad Vashem memorial to commemorate the victims and heroes of the Holocaust. On the final day (June 19), Paška's programme will culminate in a meeting with Israeli President Shimon Peres.
