As of January 12, mass events will be divided into three categories based on their related epidemiological risks, TASR learnt from Public Health Office (UVZ) spokesperson Dasa Rackova on Tuesday.
Low-risk events such as church mass without singing, cinema screenings and theatre plays can be filled up to 50 percent capacity or 100 individuals at maximum and held in the OP mode (for vaccinated and those who overcame COVID-19 only). Participants will need to wear respirators and submit to eating and drinking ban.
The medium-risk category such as cinema screenings with food consumption, sports events with spectators, church mass with singing can be filled up to 25 percent capacity or 100 individuals at maximum and held in the OP mode. Participants will need to wear respirators and have designated seats or places to stand.
Among the high-risk events are parties, weddings, wakes, discos and the like, which can be attended by only up to 20 individuals in the OP mode.
