Aquaparks and Swimming Pools tell Government that they’ve been forgotten

The Slovak Aquaparks and Swimming Pools Association has sent an open letter to the Government in an effort to draw attention to the serious problems faced by the industry and the need for these facilities to operate at least in OP (vaccinated and those who have recovered from COVID-19) mode, regardless of whether they have accommodation facilities or not.

The association views the current way in which measures are being set as illogical, pointing to the fact that while everything is gradually reopening, facilities that provide an opportunity to engage in activities that contribute towards building immunity are being forgotten. "Demand for accommodation in facilities that are part of hotel resorts fell to some 10 percent of total capacity after January 10, 2022, but facilities without accommodation capacities and their staff are doomed to extinction under the currently valid measures," stressed the association in the open letter.
