On Monday, Slovak motorcycle racer Štefan Svitko finished 11th in the 8th stage of the 2022 Dakar Rally. In the overall standings, he maintained the 8th position with a loss of almost 27 minutes. The British Sam Sunderland won on Monday, returning to the preliminary first place in the overall classification.
