Public catering facilities reopen in OP mode

As of Monday, all restaurants and public catering facilities can reopen in OP mode (for the vaccinated and those who have recovered from COVID-19 within the past 180 days). The conditions for reopening in OP mode include the facility having a maximum occupancy of up to 50% of its normal capacity, a maximum of four people or only people from the same household sitting at one table and spacing of at least two metres between individual tables. The maximum occupancy of 50% does not apply to school, factory or similar canteens.

Restaurants will be able to open until 8pm due to the curfew, which is in place from 8pm to 5am until January 9. However, food delivery is allowed even at the time of the curfew.

Representatives of three out of four coalition parties (For the People, Freedom and Solidarity and We are family) announced earlier that they would not support the extension of the curfew after January 9. Health Ministry stated that experts would evaluate the current restrictions. One of the options is the reintroduction of the Covid-19 automaton.
