Slovakia borrowed €191 million on the financial markets on Monday. This time securities maturing in November 2024 and in November 2018 were auctioned. Overall demand however was twice as high, reaching €365 million.
Finance Minster Peter Kažimír sees the Monday auction as a big success. “The low price of debt financing is the result of the positive economic development when revival of economic growth and improvement on the labour market are expected”, said the minister.
