Airline companies will restrict some of their flights in January 2022 in the face of the adverse epidemiological situation caused by the omicron variant. TASR learnt this from Bratislava M.R. Stefanik Airport spokesperson Zuzana Drobova on Wednesday. In the three weeks in January 10-31, 2022, Ryanair will suspend flights from Bratislava to Brussels, Thessaloniki, Bologne, Milano, Malta, Lvov, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford and Manchester and reduce the frequency of flights to Dublin and London Stansted. Other flights - to Copenhagen, Eindhoven, Lanzarote, Rome and Kiev - are supposed to be run according to the regular timetable. Also planning to reduce the number of available flights is Wizz Air. Flight to Lvov will be suspended from January 10, 2022, until July 5, and to London Luton from January 9 until March 27, 2022.
