The Slovak Post on Tuesday began to distribute the first batch of 20,000 letters containing cheques for seniors to reward them for being vaccinated against COVID-19, Finance Minister Igor Matovic reported on a social network on the same day. The Finance Minister pointed out that their decision to be vaccinated helps protect their health and lives, and helps protect hospitals from collapse. "It significantly helps to save our common finances and enables an earlier return to the normalcy that we all crave," he claimed.
