Bonus for health-care staff should go even to those who didn't apply in time

Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky has announced that the €350 bonuses allocated for health-care staff should be paid out even to workers who didn’t apply for the money in time. Lengvarsky at the same time revealed that he has given an order to make a list of those ambulance drivers without medical education, as these individuals aren’t entitled to the bonus. According to Lengvarsky, the Health Ministry is aiming to reach an agreement with ambulance services regarding money that would be paid out to drivers lacking medical education. Health-care workers were able apply for the bonus between December 20-22. The minister noted that the bonus will be subject to taxes.
