800+ jobs to be created in Senica

In 2022, the Vaillant group Heat Pump Production plans to make an investment worth €120 million in the town of Senica (Trnava region). According to the Senica town council this should lead to the creation of more than 800 jobs. "The goal is to build one of the most innovative facilities for heat pump production in Europe, so that we meet the growing market demands. Furthermore, we would like to bolster development and production capacities in Slovakia. We would also support a better climate and sustainable future in heating," claimed future facility head Radovan Prístavok. The company received an investment aid from the Government in the form of €18 million worth of income tax break. Construction works are scheduled to start in the spring of 2022, with the production launch expected in the second half of 2023.
