President praises work of Slovak soldiers

President and Commander-in-chief Zuzana Caputova praised the work of Slovak soldiers involved in NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence during her visit to a military base located in Latvian town of Adazi on Monday. The head of Slovak state met with her Latvian counterpart Egil Levits to discuss the situation prevailing at the border with Belarus and at the Russian-Ukrainian border. Defence Minister Jaroslav Nad (OLaNO), also present at the base, thanked the soldiers for their service as well. The meeting also featured a demonstration of Zuzana 2, the advanced wheeled self-propelled gun howitzer. Caputova is glad that a dialogue has been initiated between the Russian and US Presidents.
