On Monday, Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová, who is also commander-in-chief of the Slovak Armed Forces, left for a visit to Latvia and visited Slovak soldiers operating in NATO enhanced Forward Presence (eFP) force in the Adazi military base. It is a traditional pre-Christmas visit to soldiers serving abroad. The delegation also includes Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď. The president is also scheduled to meet her Latvian counterpart Egils Levits. She will return from her foreign trip on Monday evening.
