On Friday night the Los Angeles Kings won the hockey's Stanley Cup in double overtime of a thrilling Game 5 at the Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles.
It's the first NHL title for the Slovak player Marián Gáborík, who scored one of the goals in the match, in which Kings won 3-2 over the New York Rangers. Gáborík is the 9th Slovak hockey player to win the trophy. The Los Angeles Kings' Stanley Cup victory celebration will continue today with a downtown parade. Later this summer, the Cup should also come to Slovakia.
