As of Friday (December 10), shops will open for vaccinated people and those who have recovered from COVID-19 (OP mode), with the upper grades of primary schools and secondary schools across the country to switch to online learning as of Monday (December 13). Health Minister Vladimir Lengvarsky announced this at a press conference on Tuesday.
The curfew and state of emergency will remain in place.
The lifting of other measures will proceed as previously announced on Monday (December 6), meaning that hotels, for instance, will reopen as of December 25. Prime Minister Eduard Heger (OLaNO) added that as of Friday, churches will reopen in OP mode and with limited capacity.
Only shops are to reopen for the moment, not restaurants. Services are slated to be relaunched as of December 17 and restaurants and tourism as of December 25. "It's possible that this might happen a week earlier, following discussions with experts," said Lengvarsky.
