The financial sector has been handling the pandemic well so far according to a financial stability report presented by representatives of the National Bank of Slovakia (NBS). Moreover, it reportedly became even stronger in some aspects. The financial sector has been able to continue financing the economy during the pandemic, and financial stability has not been disrupted. Thanks to responsible behaviour among banks, the financial sector has come out of the crisis even strengthened in terms of capital.
