The future, values and priorities are the main topics on the agenda of the summit of presidents of the Visegrad Four countries (Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia) held in Budapest on Monday. The summit was convened by Hungarian President János Áder as Hungary is currently heading the one-year presidency of the grouping. Slovak President Zuzana Čaputová and Polish President Andrzej Duda arrived in Budapest in person, while Czech President Miloš Zeman joined the talks via a video call.
According to Jozef Matej, head of the Slovak President's Office press department, Caputova and her counterparts will attend two plenary sessions to discuss the next 30 years of the V4, its values and priorities in a changing world. The V4 presidents last met in Poland on February 10 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the signing of the joint declaration.
