Both Prime Minister Eduard Heger and Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok have expressed their condolences both to the bereaved and the survivors following a tragic bus crash that occurred in western Bulgaria in the small hours of Tuesday.
At least 46 people, including 12 children, perished after the bus crashed and caught fire. The cause of the accident is being investigated.
“My sincerest condolences to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in the terrible bus accident in Bulgaria early this morning. I wish a speedy recovery and lots of strength to those who were injured,” stated Heger on Twitter.
“Shocked by the news from Bulgaria about a tragic bus accident involving citizens of North Macedonia. My condolences to the families of the victims. I wish a speedy recovery to all those who survived,” tweeted Korcok.
