Slovak Alpine skier Petra Vlhová won the first two World Cup slalom events of the ongoing season, both in Levi, Finland. On Saturday as well as on Sunday she finished ahead of the American Mikaela Shiffrin in second place and Germany’s Lena Dürr in third place. Petra Vlhová reaped success in Levi even in the past, as she won both World Cup slalom events in the Finnish ski resort last year and one slalom event in 2017. She also finished second in Levi in 2018 and third in 2016.
