On Tuesday, 16 November, Slovak President Zuzana Caputova is visiting the Czech Republic. On the eve of the Velvet Revolution anniversary, she is to receive the Silver Medal from the President of the Senate Milos Vystrcil. During Caputova’s short visit to Prague, the Slovak President also met with Czech President Milos Zeman at the Central Military Hospital in Prague, where he is hospitalised. Zuzana Caputova is also set to commemorate the 32nd anniversary of the Velvet Revolution in Prague by laying a bouquet at the monument on Národní třída Street, where the first student protests against the totalitarian communist government took place and were harshly repressed.
