Slovak and Ukrainian PMs sign declaration on mutual cooperation

Slovak Prime Minister Eduard Heger and his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal signed a joint declaration on cooperation between Bratislava and Kiev on Friday, Ukrainian news agency Ukrinform reported on the same day. The premiers, who met in the Zakarpattia Oblast, pointed out the potential for further development of ties between their respective countries. Heger stated that Slovakia supports the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognised borders and does not recognise the Russian occupation of the Crimean peninsula and the city of Sevastopol. The prime ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation within the framework of the Crimean Platform.
