Parliament on Thursday rejected a bill aiming to prolong the mandatory period for reflection on an abortion from the current 48 to 96 hours and introduce a special allowance for children born with disabilities, among other measures. The bill was supported by 67 lawmakers, while 38 voted against it and 28 abstained. The legislation was sponsored by MPs from OLaNO and We Are Family.
