The Slovak Hydrometeorological Institute (SHMU) issued a first- and second-degree alert for Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively, due to an expected heat wave that should hit mainly south-western Slovakia. Temperature should reach 33-34C on Tuesday and 36C on Wednesday.
