Based on revised data of the Slovak Statistics Office this country’s foreign trade registered a surplus of €1.23 billion in the first quarter of this year. This meant a slight increase of 1.2% in comparison to the same period last year.
Slovakia’s highest surplus in trade was with Germany followed by the United Kingdom and Poland. The largest deficit in trade was with South Korea, the Russian Federation and China.
