Cooperation between Slovakia and the French Republic, transatlantic relations in the context of European defense, and the upcoming French Presidency of the Council of the EU were the topics raised by Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok and French Ambassador to the Slovak Republic Pascal Le Deunff.
At Tuesday's meeting with the new French ambassador, the head of Slovak diplomacy emphasized the importance of France as a strategic partner of the Slovak Republic. In this context, Korcok pointed out the positive dynamics of bilateral cooperation, as well as the representation of French business entities in Slovakia. "Newly implemented projects in the field of tourism, infrastructure, transport and construction hold the prospect of further deepening the mutual cooperation between the two countries," the minister said.
