Science and Technology Week, which runs until Sunday 14 November, started on Monday. Its programme also includes the 24th edition of the AMAVET Science and Technology Festival, in which primary and secondary school pupils will be presenting their research projects. As the Science and Technology Week is taking place during the third wave of the pandemic, most of the events will be online. The aim of Science and Technology Week is to popularise science within wider society. It is also intended to increase the interest of the younger generation in the study of technical disciplines. The events are aimed mainly at primary and secondary school pupils.
