A total of 30,789 people in Slovakia had been inoculated with a third vaccine dose as of Wednesday (October 27), the State Institute for Drug Control (SUKL) has published on its website. According to data revealed by the National Health Information Centre (NCZI), 2,459,503 people have been given the first vaccine jab and 2,300,280 the second one. The Comirnaty vaccine from the Pfizer/BioNTech consortium and Spikevax from Moderna are currently being used in Slovakia for the third booster shot, with the former being administered in 29,919 cases and the latter in 870 cases.
