Slovakia ready to help Poland and the Baltics with refugee situation

The Slovak Republic is ready to help Poland and the Baltic states sort out illegal migration, which is driven by the Belorussian regime of Alexander Lukashenko. This statement came from the Deputy Foreign Minister Martin Klus (Freedom and Solidarity), during the meeting of the Council of the European Union (EU) on Tuesday 19 October in Luxembourg. According to Klus it is shameful that the regime of the undemocratically elected President Alexander Lukashenko is abusing desperate migrants for political purposes and gambling with their lives. He thus expressed Slovakia’s full solidarity with Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in the current situation and declared its readiness to help.
