Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korcok (an SaS nominee) during an official visit to Azerbaijan on Tuesday expressed his appreciation for the fact that trade and economic cooperation have come to the fore in ties between Bratislava and Baku, the Foreign Affairs Ministry announced Tuesday evening.
The Slovak minister also attended a Slovak-Azerbaijani business forum and signed an intergovernmental agreement on economic cooperation between the two countries. "Among the commitments in this agreement is to set up an intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation, which will promote new opportunities for our entrepreneurs," explained the Slovak minister.
