The material physicist Ján Dusza became an exceptional personality in Slovak science as part of the ESET 2021 Science Award. Dusza focuses on the research and development of progressive ceramic materials. Thanks to their properties, they are used in the most demanding conditions in terms of temperature and mechanical stress in aggressive environments. Ladislav Valkovič was awarded as an exceptional scientist under the age of 35. Moreover, Jozef Zajac became the winner of the Outstanding University Teacher category.
