Bakers are calling on the government to finally address the critical situation in the bakery sector. There is strong pressure to increase the price of products due to the rising prices of all inputs from raw materials, energy, packaging, services to the price of labour. On the other hand, there is the pressure from traders who want to buy their products at the lowest possible prices without covering production costs. Next year, there is a risk of a jump in the price of bread and pastries and the bankruptcy of bakeries.
