The delta variant of novel coronavirus was discovered in 99.9% of all analysed samples collected during the month of September in Slovakia, the Public Health Office reported. The number of analysed samples stood at 1,953, with the delta variant present in 1,951. The remaining two samples contained the alpha variant.
