Slovakia earlier this week sent material humanitarian aid to Ukraine worth around €28,000, Peter Lazarov from the Foreign and European Affairs Ministry said on Thursday.
According to Lazarov, the aid weighing a total of 4.3 tonnes was sent to Ukraine on Tuesday from the Logistic Base for Emergency Situations in the Bratislava borough of Vajnory. The aid consists mainly of electric generators, lighting and disposable dishware, and represents a response to a request to NATO made by Ukraine.
