Prime Minister Robert Fico claims that he cannot imagine the presence of foreign troops on the territory of Slovakia. Fico claims that his comment is not a reaction to any specific demand made on Slovakia.
U.S. President Barack Obama asked the Congress on Tuesday for 1 billion US Dollars to support military activities and increase military presence of the United States in Europe. Slovak PM Fico says it will be important to learn details of President Obama’s plan. However, he offered to cooperate by providing the USA the Slovak Lešť military training area.
