The four accused investigators of the National Criminal Agency (NAKA) from the Purgatory team will continue their work. Interim Police President Štefan Hamran informed about this on Friday, adding that he sees no reason to put them out of service. Hamran also pointed to the decision by the regional court which stated that the criminal prosecution was unfounded. Investigators of the Bureau of the Inspection Service, which investigates crimes committed by police officers, detained the investigators in mid-September, a move that has sparked open conversations about a war within the police.
