The Czech Republic has put Slovakia on its red list as of Monday, thereby including the country among those associated with a high risk of COVID-19 infection as it is stated on the Slovak Foreign Affairs Ministry's website. Unvaccinated passengers will therefore have to undergo a COVID-19 test when entering the Czech territory and self-isolate.
In addition to the test, there is an obligation to fill in an arrival form before the trip. When travelling by public transport, passengers must have a certificate with a negative result of an antigen test (no older than 48 hours) or an RT-PCR test (no older than 72 hours) before entering the Czech Republic. "When using individual transport, it isn't necessary to have a test result before entering the Czech Republic," said the ministry.
