The Slovak central bank (NBS) has revised its economic growth outlook for this year, down by 1 percentage point from its previous prognosis to 3.5 percent, NBS governor Peter Kazimir stated during his presentation of the current prognosis on Tuesday.
Back in the summer, NBS estimated that this year's growth would stand at 4.5 percent. On the other hand, NBS has increased its estimates for the next couple of years, predicting a growth of 6.3 percent in 2022 and 4.5 percent in 2023. This means that expectations of a return to pre-crisis economic levels have been postponed to early 2022.
